Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-18 · effective September 18, 2026
Draft: placeholder text pending legal review. It shows the structure and the rules the platform applies today; the final wording will be published as a new version.
1. Who we are and what this is
PlayWithPro is operated by PlayWithPro (operator name pending), Operator address pending, Germany ("we"). These terms govern your use of the platform where amateur players book paid sessions with verified table tennis coaches. Questions: support@play-with.pro.
2. Our role in a booking
PlayWithPro provides the marketplace, the escrow payment flow, the video room and the dispute process. The coaching itself is delivered by the coach you book. [Placeholder: counsel decides whether PlayWithPro acts as an intermediary or as the seller, and who issues invoices.]
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. [Placeholder: counsel decides whether 16+ or parent-held accounts are possible.] Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account.
4. The three services
- Video analysis — you upload clips, the coach reviews them with you in an online session.
- Consultation — an online session without clips.
- Game — an in-person session at the coach's venue.
Prices, duration and the venue are shown before you book and are fixed at booking.
5. Payment, escrow and confirmation
Your payment is held in escrow when you book. It is released to the coach after you confirm the session, or automatically 48 hours after the session ends if you neither confirm nor report a problem. The coach's share is the price minus the platform fee of 10%.
6. Cancellations and rescheduling
Cancellations and rescheduling follow the Booking and Cancellation Policy, which you see again at checkout. In short: free cancellation until 24 hours before the start, a 50% refund until 2 hours before, no refund after that; a full refund whenever the coach cancels.
7. Attendance and no-shows
For online sessions we record who joined the video room. If the coach never joins, your payment is held and refunded unless the coach explains within 48 hours. If you never join, the coach is still paid.
8. Disputes
If a session did not take place as agreed, report a problem before the auto-confirmation deadline. Our team reviews the evidence (room attendance, clips, messages) and decides whether the payment is released to the coach or refunded to you. Decisions are made in good faith on the available records.
9. Reviews
After a paid-out session you may leave one public review with a rating. Reviews must be honest, about the session, and free of insults or personal data of third parties. We moderate and may remove reviews that break these rules.
10. Your content and our licence
You keep ownership of the clips you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, transcode and show them to the coaches you book, for the purpose of the service. You confirm you are allowed to share the footage, including any other people visible in it. Clips not attached to a session are deleted after 90 days. Coach annotations made in your sessions belong to the coach's work product; you may keep and export them.
11. Content and community guidelines
Be respectful in sessions, profiles and reviews. No harassment, discrimination, unlawful content or recording of other people without their consent. Coaches present themselves truthfully; verification does not guarantee results.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend accounts that break these terms, after which sign-in is blocked while paid sessions are settled per the policy. You may close your account at any time; the data rights are described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Liability
[Placeholder: limitation of liability, exclusions for personal injury during in-person games, force majeure.]
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A material change requires your acceptance the next time you sign in; a minor change is announced. Every version stays readable at its own address.
15. Governing law and disputes with us
[Placeholder: governing law, jurisdiction, consumer dispute resolution bodies.]
